Deborah J. Evans is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Walter Canyon Consulting L.L.C.  – a Strategic Consulting and Human Resource Management Firm.

Deborah has over 25 years of experience in various multibillion dollar corporations, non-profits, educational intuitions and governmental sectors serving in executive management positions and consulting roles. Deborah is a well-rounded business leader, excellent public speaker and meeting facilitator equipped and driven to handle any situation impeding corporate initiatives and community outreach.

Deborah’s management expertise spans the full range of operational functions – HR, IT, P&L, accounting, and customer service. Her expertise in Six Sigma, Organizational Resilience and Human Resource Management simplifies her ability to digest and implement business strategies to create the highest level of possible efficiencies within organizations.

In addition to visionary strategic planning, Deborah also generates professional development along with cutting-edge curriculum based workshops that significantly improves employee commitment to business initiatives, ultimately increasing company profit.

Deborah is an interesting, and engaged human being. Deborah grew up in the city of Detroit and completed her education in the Detroit Public School System. Deborah holds a baccalaureate of science degree in accounting and finance from the prestigious historical black college – Tuskegee University and a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in Management and Finance from Walsh College of Accountancy and Business Administration.


Joyce M. James 
is Director of Operations –  Walter Canyon Consulting LLC.  Joyce has worked for over 25 years in Big 8 accounting and consulting firms and  leading regional health systems. Joyce has held senior management positions developing and coaching highly skilled professionals.  Joyce has served on many boards lending her leadership to her community.

Joyce holds certificates in various areas of leadership and employee development including – Building a Culture of Diversity & Inclusion; Re:Think: Lean Principles; Americans With Disabilities Act for Leaders; World Class Service: Coaching.

Joyce  grew up in the city of Detroit and completed the Detroit Public School System. Joyce  holds a baccalaureate of science degree in accounting from Wayne State University and a Masters of Science Degree with a concentration in Management  from Walsh College.

James Estabaum   is  Director of Curriculum and Training  of Walter Canyon Consulting LLC. James provides critical focus on different ways to develop and improve learning opportunities for employers and employees alike.  Curriculum development is decided through research, feedback, and testing of new curricula and consulting methods, selecting appropriate  materials for use in the business setting. The consulting team is advised on regulations, and  innovative ideas that will enhance workshops and coaching.

James has worked over 20 years in various multibillion dollar corporations, non-for profits, educational intuitions governmental sectors serving in executive management positions and consulting roles.

James grew up in the city of Los Angeles, CA and completed the Public School System. James holds a baccalaureate of science degree in accounting and finance from University of Southern California  –  and a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from Oakland University.
